My interest in Osteopathy stemmed from when I was studying Athletic Therapy in Calgary in 2003. I had been suffering from chronic mid-back pain and was having difficulty sitting in class for long periods of time. I had seen many practitioners but had only temporary relief from my symptoms. One of the professors was in the midst of her osteopathic training and offered to treat me. After only two treatments my back pain had subsided! I was so impressed at the detail of assessment and the plethora of manual hands on techniques that she used that I vowed I would someday train to become an Osteopath.
Fast forward to 2008 when I started my osteopathic training, I studied at the Canadian School of Osteopathy, Vancouver Campus and successfully defended my thesis in 2014. I have been completely immersed in all things Osteopathy since my first day at school and I continue to love every minute of it!
I have been in private practice for 12 years and have extensive hands-on experience. I have also taken several post-graduate courses in order to provide that best patient care that I can.
